HOUSING GRANTS

Lake Havasu City applies for grants from the State of Arizona for various services for the citizens of our community. Each of the grants may have different requirements so please contact Holly Morin at (928) 854-0711 for those requirements and availability of funding. Below are brief descriptions of our current grants and what activities are appropriate:

  • Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) - Currently being used for owner occupied housing rehabilitation including health and safety repairs. This is a grant and does not have to be repaid. Applications are also available in the lobby at City Hall.

  • State Special Projects Grant (SSP) - Currently being used for owner occupied housing rehabilitation including health and safety repairs. This is a grant and does not have to be repaid. Applications are also available in the lobby at City Hall.
CITY GRANTS

Every two years, Lake Havasu City has a limited amount of grant funding available for qualifying non-profit agencies providing social services to Lake Havasu City residents.  If your agency provides such services,  you are invited to apply for any available grant funding offered by the City for the Fiscal Year 2017-18/2018-2019 budget cycle beginning in January 2017.

Grant applications will be available by download towards the end of January 2017.

The Lake Havasu City Council will make the determination as to which agencies they would like to fund within available resources. Additionally, performance requirements will be considered in the review process in order to effectively distribute the limited funding available to agencies that meet the necessary guidelines.

All applications are due to the City no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday March 31, 2017 and can be submitted to Grants@lhcaz.gov.
