The Aquatic Center offers a wide variety of water exercise classes from beginner to advanced. Whether you are just starting, or training for your first Ironman, we have something for everyone. Classes are $5 per class or you can purchase a Punch pass, which is $73.00 for 20 visits. Passes expire one year from the date of purchase. Always check with your physician before starting an exercise program.

The Arthritis Exercise Class is limited to 12 participants. Participants please let the cashier know when checking in you are here for Arthritis Exercise Class. Check in for Arthritis Class will begin no earlier than 30 minutes prior to class start time.


Ai-Chi (Beginner) - A water movement and relaxation program that combines the movements of Tai Chi,
Qj Gong and Shiatsu while standing in shoulder depth water. It is an efficient exercise program that increases range of motion, balance, mobility and stress relief through breathing techniques.

Aqua Aerobics (Intermediate to Advanced) - Designed to help shape and tone your body as well as keep your heart rate up while working in both shallow and deep water.

Aqua Challenge (Intermediate) - Instructor’s choice. Waves may be run during this class.

Aqua Motion (Intermediate to Advanced) - Performed in deep water where participants are suspended at shoulder level with the use of aqua jogger belts and water weights.

Arthritis Exercise (Beginner) - Designed to improve range of motion, muscle strength and endurance while being conducted in warm water.

Sit & Be Fit (Beginner) - Helps your balance, breathing and joint mobility by focusing on improving muscular strength, range of motion and endurance while exercises are performed in a seated or standing position.

Tai Chi (Beginner) - Utilizes proper breathing techniques, balance, strength development and stress relief.

Water Wellness (Beginner) - A less intense alternative to our Aqua Motion class, while still focusing on increasing range of motion, flexibility, strength and mild cardiovascular training.

Yoga (Beginner) - Helps develop better range of motion, flexibility and increases strength through a variety
of stretching movements.


The Aquatic Center offers lap swim in our 6 lanes 25 meter pool. Kickboards and fins are available for use on a first come, first serve basis. Lap Swim daily drop in rate is $5.00 per visit or various passes are available.


Open Swim consists of waves in our main pool, outside splash pad, slide and fun shore features. Open Swim drop in rate is $5.50 for adults, $4.50 for seniors and children, children 3 and under are free


Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center is proud to offer you professional instructors who are well trained by American Red Cross guidelines. Our goal is to offer a balanced program that swimming skills and how to be safe in the water. Cost is $36.00 per session.

  • April Session - 4/1 - 4/24

Adult Swim Lessons (18 years & up) – Lessons will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:45 – 7:15 p.m. The purpose of this level is for adults to become more comfortable in and around the water. Whether for fitness, recreation, or survival, lessons will be based upon individual’s needs and abilitites.


Frogs (6 months – 3 years) - Lessons will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.

The purpose of this level is to help infants/toddlers become comfortable in and around the water so they are ready to learn to swim. It is also intended to educate the parent or caregiver in basic water skills so they are better equipped to help their child.

Guppies (3 years -5 years) - Lessons will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.

The purpose of this level is to teach the fundamentals of water safety, buoyancy, breath control, swimming on front and back, changing the direction and water entry and exit.

Starfish (5 years - 9 years) - Lessons will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:45 – 7:15 p.m.

The purpose of this level is for participants to propel themselves unsupported on their front and back using coordinated arm and leg action (front crawl, back crawl). They will also learn to front and back float and recover to a vertical position without support.  Treading water and rotary/side breathing are also introduced.


Make birthday memories at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center. Party package is $83.00 which includes one of two fenced-off party areas and up to 20 swimmers.  Party package includes use of indoor wave pool, slides, splash park, and all center amenities. All reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and are available during open swim sessions.  Call the Aquatic Center for more information on booking your party.
