Over the past several weeks, Detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), have been investigating a male subject selling fentanyl pills in the Lake Havasu City area.

On April 4, 2022, at approximately 8pm the Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to the 3300 block of Mockingbird Dr. in reference to a male subject who had fired a gun inside his residence. When officers arrived on scene an officer-involved shooting took place.

Motorists on London Bridge Road from North Palo Verde Boulevard to Hwy 95; on the London Bridge; and on the Island, should allow extra travel time Saturday, April 2, as temporary road restrictions and traffic delays occur during the Havasu Half Marathon.

On March 29, 2022, at approximately 10:49 a.m., officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the 2100 block of N. McCulloch Blvd. The investigation revealed that a 2009 Jeep Wrangler with a single occupant was traveling east on N. McCulloch Blvd. when a male pedestrian left the sidewalk on the south side of the roadway and stepped in front of the vehicle leading to the crash.

On Saturday, March 26, 2022, at approximately 9:37 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Jamaica Boulevard North and McCulloch Boulevard North. During the investigation, it was determined that a 2019 Toyota Corolla was traveling westbound on McCulloch Boulevard North when the driver failed to stop at the posted stop sign.
