On August 6, 2022, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Lake Havasu City Police Department officers responded to the 1500 block of Beachcomber Blvd. in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, regarding a vehicle intentionally ramming into various property, causing significant damage.

On July 21, 2022, at 12:43 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department arrested Ralph Jones in the 3800 block of London Bridge Road in Desert Hills, Arizona. The arrest was in connection to a Weapons Misconduct investigation that involved a male subject detonating Improvised Explosive Devices on several occasions in the 5600 block of HWY 95.

The Lake Havasu City Transit System is announcing the completion of its first pilot fixed route the Gray Route, on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. The route serviced nine bus stop locations in the downtown corridor and the temporary transit hub in the Pima Wash parking lot.

On Monday, July 4, 2022, at 11:09 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to a single-vehicle crash on Havasu Riviera Parkway near SR 95 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. When officers arrived, they located a male on the ground in the southbound lanes on Havasu Riviera Parkway with significant injuries and difficulty breathing.

Due to the upcoming summer months, Coffee with the Mayor and City Manager is going dark in July and August. The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, September 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Meeting is held in the Council Chambers at the Police Department located at 2360 McCulloch Blvd North.

Over the past several months, detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), have been investigating a subject selling Fentanyl pills throughout the Lake Havasu City Area.

Lake Havasu City is looking for low-income homeowners who wish to have health & safety-related repairs made to their home.

On May 30, 2022, at approximately 6:16 p.m., Lake Havasu City Police Department officers were dispatched to the London Bridge Beach, 1340 McCulloch Boulevard North, to a report of gunshots fired in the area. During the investigation, multiple handgun ammunition casings were found in the upper parking lot, and two vehicles and one building were struck by the shots that were fired. The suspect in this case has been identified as 20-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Andres J. Aguilar. Aguilar’s current whereabouts are unknown. He is considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
