On March 10, 2022, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department took Jenelle O’Neil into custody for her alleged involvement in multiple thefts that occurred in Lake Havasu City between March 5, 2022, and March 9, 2022.

Mayor Cal Sheehy has been elected to help lead the Mohave County Water Authority (MCWA) as chairman of the committee. In an ongoing effort to maintain the highest-quality airport infrastructure, the Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport is closing the runway on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to apply a seal coat application to the runway. A seal coat application is an efficient and cost-effective method of prolonging the usable life of the runway pavement.

The Lake Havasu City Fire Department, would like to announce that FNF Construction Inc. is conducting blasting work on Thursday, March 17, 2022 and Friday, March 18, 2022 at 8:00 p.m., on the southwest corner of Sweetwater Ave. and Acoma Blvd.

On March 2, 2022, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Lake Havasu City police officers responded to the 1800 block of Swanson Avenue for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a male victim who had just been stabbed in the chest area by his roommate. Medical personnel responded to the scene, and the victim was transported to the Havasu Regional Medical Center for treatment, where he is listed in critical condition.
