On August 30, 2022, the Lake Havasu City Police Department received a report of a potential threat involving a school shooting at an unspecified school in Lake Havasu City. Local schools were notified of the information and took precautionary measures. Detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit conducted a thorough investigation and determined that no threats were made involving any school or student. The schools were made aware of the findings of the investigation.

This service can provide a more discrete level of assistance to people who may be experiencing mental health-related distress and are not necessarily wanting police assistance at their residences.

On Saturday, August 13, 2022, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Lake Havasu City Police Department officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Kiowa Boulevard South near Amberwood Avenue.

On August 10, 2022, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Lake Havasu City Police Department officers responded to a hotel in the 400 Block of London Bridge Road in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, in reference to a report of a subject with a firearm.

On August 9, 2022, at approximately 4:00 p.m., The Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to the intersection of Park Terrace Ave. and Nugget Dr. in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, in reference to a shooting that had just occurred.
