Lake Havasu City Public Works Department, Engineering Division announces the temporary closure of Acoma Blvd. N. to thru traffic from Lake Havasu Ave. N. to Highway 95 N. Starting March 7, 2022, through March 8, 2022, for the installation of underground utilities. Traffic will be detoured on both days from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while the utility installation and asphalt paving take place. All business access will be maintained during the duration of the closure.

Gate opens at 10:30 a.m., presentation of “Colors,” from the Lake Havasu Marine Corps League Detachment # 757, kicks off the event at 10:45 a.m., followed by the National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, and a few messages thanking those who serve in the military past and present. As part of the annual effort to keep our roads in good condition, Lake Havasu City is continuing its annual pavement preservation efforts with the application of fog seal on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 lasting approximately four weeks, subject to weather conditions.
