A temporary road closure of McCulloch Boulevard is required for Public Works Infrastructure Improvements. In an effort to reduce the impact to local businesses and motorist, contractors will be working at night to improve the water system.

On August 14, 2024, at approximately 11:42 a.m., Lake Havasu City Police Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Havasupai Boulevard in reference to a single vehicle traffic collision. Upon officers’ arrival, the driver of the vehicle was found unconscious and not breathing. Officers removed the subject from the vehicle and began lifesaving measures.

For the safety of the public and all involved, the fishing pier, launch ramp, and access to all boat traffic in and out of the Site Six waterway is closed to the public next Thursday, August 22, from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
